what is the name of the dad in the book hatbox baby. I heard that it was only used three times and I can't find it nowhere. If you don't mind please send me a reply asap if possible. Thank you so much
  --Lauren

I do mind, very much. I've read about 100 books since I wrote that review six years ago, so even if I wanted to do your homework for you--which I don't--I couldn't possibly answer your question. If you read the book carefully, you'll find the answer yourself.

hi,
my copy of beyond the burning time was stolen. can you give me an overview of what happened. i left off at virgina chase's trial.thank you

Gee, that's too bad. Guess you'll have to buy a copy and read it yourself like I did (and your teacher told you to).

y are u so mean 2 ppl asking 4 help. i dont think that little problems in th ebook like "drawers" change the overall message. u need 2 learn 2 read and take in books, not scan them 4 mistakes.
  --John

I'm only "mean" to lazy students who expect a total stranger to do their homework for them. And I have little patience for people who don't use their full names, nor bother to spell out simple words such as "why," "are" "you" and "to." However, I'm quite helpful to the dozens of people a year who send me thoughtful, sincere messages to forward to authors whose interviews are on my site.

...little problems in th ebook like "drawers"...

Those are not "little problems." The author of a historical novel, especially one written for young readers, has a responsibility to portray history accurately. Having early 17th-century people wear drawers and use kerosene lanterns is as wrong as having them drive cars and play video games. It took me only one five-minute phone call to a museum to check the historical details. The author obviously didn't do her homework, and readers deserve to be informed of that fact.

    ...u need 2 learn 2 read...

A reviewer's job is to evaluate a book in its entirety, and to point out major mistakes and inaccuracies. I have published many hundreds of book reviews, and know quite well how to read--and write.

How are you doing,
My name is shane and I am taking an American Literature course and I have a project to work on. My question to you is that, I was hoping you could tell me some information on Paule Marshall's book The Fisher King, or where I could find some good info. Although I have not yet read the book (the project is not due until April 8th and was just assigned), I am looking for literary criticism on that book particular, or if you can give me a definition as to what literary criticism is, exactly. I know it is a fairly new book but I am basically just looking for a starting point. I hope you can help me out. Thanks
  --Shane

Sorry, Shane, but you're going to have to do your own homework. Start by going to the library and checking out the book. THEN READ IT. If you're smart enough to use a computer to find me, you're smart enough to figure out what the words "literary" and "criticism" mean when put together.

Read the book and you'll "get" it. Shouldn't take you more than a couple of hours. I did my homework; now you do yours.

Subject: Biography
i have viewed your website and i would like if personanly give me a biography of Beyond "The Burning Time"
  --Jacob

10:21 a.m.
I don't understand what you want. A biography tells the life story of a person; "Beyond the Burning Time" is a book. As you have seen, the review is on my web site. I have no further information about the book other than that. There are more reviews--all favorable--at www.amazon.com.

5:00 p.m.
I would like a summary of the book Beyond The Burning Time. Something like a summary of each chapter if you can.
  --Jacob

6:20 p.m.
You have got to be kidding! First of all, I read the book something like seven years ago and couldn't remember it. Second, I get paid to write. Third, do your own school assignments. Read the book yourself.
